Feeder quail raised right here on our farm! These are a favorite among our cats and dog, and whole prey means no guessing whether the ratios are correct or if the nutrients are there - this is a complete meal in one handy package, as provided by Nature itself! Coturnix quail have been developed for optimal meat and egg production in a controlled environment. We feed ours a custom feed with no antibiotics, hormones, or steroids; their water is piped in from a natural Artesian spring that is not chemically treated with fluoride or other toxins. After a 10-day brooding period, the birds are housed in spacious grow-out pens giving ample opportunity for flight, dust-bathing, and other natural behaviors while keeping them safe and warm year-round.
We euthanize our birds humanely and safely with CO2, and quick-freeze them whole for optimal freshness.
