These are fed a custom feed, and are pastured from 3-4 weeks of age.Our feed does NOT contain Roxarsone, an arsenic-based feed additive.
Our feeder chicks are a variety of breeds - we don't use CornishX or other heavy-breasted hybrids, preferring instead to make use of males of egg-laying breeds which otherwise enter the waste stream. This also gives your pets a more natural meat-to-bone ratio, and slower growth means more nutrition per ounce!

Processing is not available on feeder chicks. These will arrive WHOLE, with feathers, feet, head, and all.
Month-old chicks will weigh between 5.5 and 7.0 ounces. Photo is not representative of chick size.
Chicks are humanely euthanized with CO2 (carbon dioxide gas) and frozen whole.
